IRMLER PIANO COMPANY OF LEIPZIG, GERMANY
In the early 1800's the Irmler Piano Company, makers of world famous pianos, began its prestigious history in Leipzig, Germany's most noted cultural center for the performing arts. Today, this long history of Johann Christian Irmler's commitment to superior German quality and craftsmanship is continued. We proudly introduce the NEW line of Irmler Pianos.

The Irmler Advantage
Irmler pianos are imported pianos made for the German company in Asian and European factories where strict control is exercised in the design, workmanship and the materials used in their construction.
The original Irmler firm began operations in the mid 1800s in Leipzig as a quality oriented company. German Piano Imports(GPI) presents these carefully made pianos constructed in the old world tradition of fine piano making.

IRMLER-EUROPE GRAND AND VERTICAL PIANOS
Built under the name IRMLER - EUROPE, the Irmler line is further expanded by our specially built European made grand and vertical pianos. The casings and rim structures are made using age-old German expertise with modern construction techniques and with only the finest quality hardwood of beech and maple, structural pine and spruce. The soundboard is constructed of fine grained quarter sawn solid spruce harvested from the mountain slopes of eastern Europe and is selected for high resonance and long lasting qualities of its enclosed cell grain structure.

Bridges are of high quality solid and laminated red beech, notched on both sides for tonal clarity and structural balance. The technique of harmonic double duplexing is incorporated within the stringing scale of each Irmler-Europe grand piano. To accomplish this, the area of the section in front of the Capo bar is open at a prescribed interval and duplex bars are precisely placed on the back side of the bridge of the treble sections. This special technique enhances the harmonic development of the stringing scale, giving beauty and richness throughout the tonal spectrum.
Grey metal casting, designed to withstand string tension of more than 20 tons is coupled with hardwood cross beams, to insure tuning stability and long lasting pitch retention.
The fine tone qualities of the Irmler-Europe instruments are enhanced by the fast- repeating and ultra-responsive Renner action in the grand pianos, and the scientifically balanced action in the vertical pianos. Carefully programmed regulation and hammer voicing make these instruments the finest available in their class and a wise musical investment that gives the proud owner a lasting reward of musical excellence.
