Special Museum Exhibition

"Creators of the World"

On the occasion of the 200th Anniversary of the Leipzig-born composer Richard Wagner, a special exhibition has been staged at the Leipziger Museum der bildenden Künste, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Leipzig, by the award-winning artist and Wagner specialist Rosalie, portraying the work of three famous Saxon artists, Richard Wagner, Max Klinger and Karl May.

The focal point of the exhibition is a Blüthner concert grand, which sits in a room surrounded by sensor controlled lighting that respond to the presence and movement of visitors in the room, as well as the music of the various paraphrases of the Brahms Third Piano Concerto being played. The newspaper, Die Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, wrote about the exhibition: ".... – it is for everyone who wants to learn to be amazed all over again."
