The Golden Tone Award

This year's winner of the 2013 Blüthner International Piano Competition in Vienna, Austria and the prize Blüthner Model 10 concert grand has been announced.  Congratulations to Anna Ulaieva, the winner, and to all participants for an excellent competition this year!

From the hundreds of applications recieved internationally, through four harrowing rounds of competition, the demands on the competitors were high.  The semifinal and Finale rounds were held in the Old Towne Hall in Vienna, Austria this year from the 14th through the 16th of February.

Finalists: Nora Bartosik, 26, USA; Elizaveta Ivanova, 25, Russia; Anna Ulaieva, 27, Ukraine
