Guzal Hilbertz-Enikeeva was born in Tadschikistan, raised in Taschkent,Usbekistan; now a German citizen, she resides in Cologne / Bonn. Her first public appearance at the age of six, was in the former UDSSR and led to a future of concerts with outstanding revues.
Guzal began her studies of music and piano at the state conservatory in Taschkent, Usbekistan and finished them in Germany at the universities of Hannover and Weimar. The most important teachers for her were Prof. Nataly Zinzadze and Prof. Vladimir Krainew, both students of Heinrich Neuhaus. She also participated in Master Classes with the highly admired pianists, Prof. Karl-Heinz Kämmerling and Prof. Arnim Torger.
Her studies at the Academy for Music and Theatre in Hannover were supported by the Usbekistan government. During her studies she performed concerts in Taschkent, Moscow, Kiev and Ulan-Bator ( Mongolia ), many of these concerts were broadcast on radio and television. She toured with the Usbekian chamber orchestra through Middle-Asia, on the trail of the legendary silk-road.
Guzal has been the winner of many National competitions in Usbekistan and won awards at the International Piano Competitions in Bremen, Germany and Porto, Portugal.
After settling in Germany she received several invitations to perform at music-festivals, such as the “Internationale Klavierwochen” in Heidelberg, the “International Klavierzyklus” in Bad Kissingen, “Audi Sommerkonzerte”, Ingolstadt, the “Pianorama” in Florence , the “Piano-Plus” in Bonn and the “Richard Wagner Festival” in Cologne, which was recorded live by the “West-Deutscher- Rundfunk”. She also toured in Russia, Ukraine, Mongolia, China, France, Portugal and England, playing in the famous concert-halls of “Mozarteum” in Salzburg, “Tschaikowsky-Hall” in Moscow, “St. Merri” in Paris, “Regentenbau” in Bad Kissingen, the “Residenz” in Würzburg
In 2006 she had her first and very successful Germany tour with the “Klassische Philharmonie Bonn”, conducted by Prof. Heribert Beissel. These performances were in the famous concert-halls of Germany; “Meistersingerhalle” in Nürnberg, “Die Glocke” in Bremen, the “Liederhalle” in Stuttgart, the “Herkulessaal” in Munich, the “Beethovenhalle” in Bonn, the “Rudolf-Oetker-Halle” in Bielefeld, the “Konzerthaus am Gendarmenmarkt” in Berlin.
