Hans Joerg Fink

Hans Joerg Fink, contemporary artist and interperter of todays Swiss music scene. Blüthner Artist Hans Joerg FinkBorn in Basel. His piano studies began in Bern with Franz Josef Hirt and continued in Basel with Klaus Linder. Diploma and masters diploma both with honors. He continued his studies in Florence with Orazio Frugoni. Participated in various masterclasses, for example with alfred Brendel in London.

Prize winner in various competitions as soloist and chamber music player: Enna, Caltanissetta, Trapani, Winner of the international  Max Reger competition in Sondershausen. 1977 Reciever of the "Kunstpreises der Stadt Solothurn".

Performances with the following orchestras as soloist: Sinfonieorchester Basel, Chamber Symphony Basel, Basel Sinfonietta,Philharmonisches Orchester Odessa, Staatsorchester der Krim, Philharmonische Orchester in Donetsk und Dnjepropetrovsk, Zürcher Kammerorchester, Aargauer Symphonieorchester, Orchestra Palazzo Pitti di Firenze, Symphonieorchester Caracas, State chamber orchestra of Kazachstan, Camerata St. Petersburg, Ludus Ensemble, Stadtorchester Solothurn. Under the direction of: Andreas Spörri, Bernhard Wulff, Jürg Wyttenbach, Jan Schultsz, Hobart Earle, Edmund de Stoutz and Jean-Luc Darbelley among others.

As an expereinced and in demand accompanist, he performs regularly with the following artists:

Hans Joerg Fink is regularly invited to accompany international masterclasses from various artist such as: Sachar Bron, Gidon Kremer, Lynn Harrell, Heinrich Schiff, Boris Pergamentschikov,  Maria Stader.
Numerous collaborations for the Schleswig Holstein Musik Festival and the 2 Days/2 Nights festival in Odessa.
Since over  20 years, official acompanist for the international competition in Geneva.

Since 1980, Mr. Fink is the oficial acompanist for the Musikhochschule Basel, where he also teaches a chamber music class. Additionally, he has recently taught and given masterclasses in South Korea.

His Repertoire includes most literature for voice, strings, winds and brass.
Mr. Fink also works for piano duo and four hands. Mr. Fink has experience in symphony orchestra playing and  in drama projects with actors. HF worked for numerous chamber music ensembles: Camerata Variabile, Aura, Avalon-Trio, Klangforum Wien.

Well known and talented contemporary composers have written works for HF: Martin Derungs, Simon Caflisch, Peter Escher, Laurent Mettraux, Viktoria Poleva, Sergei Pyljutikov, Frederi Bolli, Julia Schwartz, Valentin Marti.
Frederic Bolli dedicated his concerto for piano and chamber orcehstra to Mr. Fink.
Mr. Fink premiered the Concertinos from Peter Escher with the Camerata St. Petersburg.
Mr. Fink was the first to have performed the Mozart (414) A Major piano concerto in the Ukraine.
