"If music be the food of love, play on ..."

In the spirit of this quote from William Shakespeare, the nonprofit organization "piano forte" was launched. The common love for music has brought together dedicated artists with a common goal: "To promote the musical and youth to enrich Aistria's cultural life."

Guided under the artistic direction of Florian Krumpöck, the newest Music Director and Principle Conductor of the Northern German Philharmonic Orchestra in Rostock, the dedication of the Piano Forte Team has not gone unnoticed. The yearly program, which includes various piano competitions and both solo and ensemble piano concerts, is aimed at supporting the long-term development of young music artists through collaboration with senior colleagues.

The Appassionato Award includes a 5000 € cash prize and and additional 5000 € in marketing support from oeticket. Marion Baier, Florian Krumpöck and Stephan Zwiauer of "piano forte" stated: "We thank the jury very much. With the Appassionato Award funds, we intend to initiate our piano competition again, which focuses on the networking of young artists with established artists and gives young musicians more opportunities to perform.
